What types of juvenile offenders do you think should be diverted from the juvenile justice system? Why? Be specific in your description of the juveniles, i.e. charges they are facing, age, gender, economic status, and/or where they live. If juveniles shouldn’t be diverted based on these extra legal factors, then how do we recognize the differences in the way they are treated by law enforcement, based on these extra legal factors -and/or- the difference in their opportunities?
