Write an in-depth, philosophical essay on any one of the topics covered in this course. The essay must take a position on the topic under consideration. Here are some further guidelines:
Engage with some of the assigned readings. These will also be a good place to look for other relevant sources (e.g., citations of authors that hold an opposing view to the author you are reading).
Formulate the question you seek to answer.
State a clear thesis that answers the question.
When appropriate, define key terms and concepts.
Give one or more arguments in favor of your position.
Consider one or more counterarguments against your view, and respond.
Apply at least three from the list of LOs for this assignment. You don’t need to use all of them on the list.
Apply the following general ed Learning Outcomes: #thesis, #composition, #audience.
